Well I have a savage 64 22lr with the composite stock its less than 3 years old and I haven't had it out of the safe in 2 years. I have come to dislike 22lr ballistics and if I am going gopher hunting I will take my 17HMR every time. So if you want it just pm me an address

Ive been thinking about it since a week after I left the 2012 one.
Don't go there thinking there will be LOTS of gophers to shoot. That's what I did and was quite disappointed. However, once I figured out that it was really a weekend out with CGN'rs having some fun camping, camp fires, singing, guitars, some shooting during the days, etc, then it was fine. But don't come loaded for bear like I did. I went with 4 shooters, 3,000 rounds, and dreams of shooting all day long. Came home with 4 shooters, 2800 rounds, and a dozen new friends. Then I shot 300 gophers at home the next week.rgr that

I started planning Jul 3rd. Changing the gun selection, bringing the stuff I promised last year. This should prove quite as enjoyable as last year, ESP since I know what to expect now. And Shannon and I have discussed this and are taking the Thursday off. We will have to go and pick up Mason in Edmonton Wed night but should get us there by noon Thursday. Looking forward to it already.
