Might be greasy if they had lots of rain. Tompkins road is usually still passable tho. Just the turn east to the yard that can be a bit sketchy :D

Been pouring for a few hours now in most of sk. Suppose to rain all day tomorrow in saskatoon at least but the 80km/h wind should help dry it out

Just checked the weather channel app. It says partly cloudy tommorow and wind as hell! (I'm paraphrasing) but Thursday through Sunday look to be sunny and dry.
You don't even want to know what's going in there right now, but the words "golf ball sized" seemed to be a tad over used…

Anyone have a report on how the grid roads are tonight?
 
Hopefully things are dried out before I arrive tomorrow evening, won't be any fun pulling the trailer in! Or I might have to take the long way around and use hwy 1, that will add an hour to the trip!

& I hate the CGN Subscription alerts. Never got an email again, and missed 2 pages of posts!
 
Well I'm leaving later than I hoped. Plan was to leave today but I ended up going out and picking up 17 feet of pure 70s class this afternoon :dancingbanana: And I didn't realize the lighting was out till on the way home. So that's tomorrow morning's project then I'm on my way. I'll ether be there late tomorrow or early Friday after spending the night in a parking lot :cheers:
 
Looks like I won't be able to make it this year. Had some issues pop up at the last minute (literally). Sorry guys. Hopefully I'll see you all next year.
 
We are now on the way. Two false starts, but I think we are good. I have NEVER had so much trouble getting out the door. Worked on truck all week to get it ready. Today still had to change the u-joints. Started early. Got the wrong parts, pressed them in, broke the driveshaft. No parts until Saturday morning. Caan't cancel this trip. Waited for wife Ito get off work, loaded the car, left half our stuff behind, each thinking the other had gotten it. Had to go back. Still didn't get it all and had to go back again!!
Car packed to the gills, rifles had to get thinned out due to room. Hope the roads are okay for cars 'cuz we're coming hard now. Look for us at about 5:30 or 6:00. Contact numbers if anyone has one can be PM'd to me.
 
WOOHOO!!! What an amazingly great time again!! Lots of familiar faces, and lots of brand new faces!! Made some great new friends!!!

Thanks again to everyone that came out!! Just wish I could have stayed longer!!
 
Sorry I had to leave so early. The guy I was with "needed" to leave asap because he was home sick. Such is life I guess.
