2012 Member Saskatchewan Gopher Shoot.

So, here we are in Lloyd. Just switched drivers and I figured I would post.
Guys, we had a simply AWESOME time. The boys are already talking about next year and the guns they are going to bring (NOT air soft, Boomer!).
It was so nice to meet all of you and get some faces to screen names. Lessons learned...camping weekend...not gopher shooting weekend. I got that now!! LOL!!
Next year, camper and more guns, along with other things that may go boom. Oh, and I've been told we are coming earlier next year.
We can't thank you enough for the welcome we received from you and your families. We wish all a safe year until we can meet again.
And, if any of you actually WANT to shoot gophers sometime, come on up!

Been home about five hours now and just got kids tucked in after the fireworks.

It was great to see all the old faces again and some new ones.
The great thing about a trip like this is that even though most of us only see each other once a year, the minute we're all together it Le like last years trip was yesterday!

Already looking forward to next year, and yes Harv, I already have a big box in the garage marked "gopher shoot". And there's even a lawn chair in it!

Ted, your boys can bring anything they want, airsoft included. Fun is fun after all.

That was my third gopher shoot and somehow they always get better. It is almost more of a red neck camp site than a gopher shoot.

Badger badger badger badger badger mushroom mushroom!

And to continue on the discussion. Passed a camping trailer being towed on a bed trailer. Does that make it a camper?

According to Boomer, it does... ESP if the bed is FROM an old travel trailer...LOL!
 
sitting on the side of the hwy just past sintaluta, trailer has popped of the hitch and gone to ground twice so far. Plan is to limp down to oxbow and leave it at the family farm to be picked up later. Guess I get to spend one more night in saskatchewan.

we really hope things turn out all right in the end, but trouble while enroute is never a good thing. Whenever we travel we PRAY for a long, uneventful, boring trip. I can handle uneventful...

I was only there for about 18 hours this year, but was still a great time catching up with everyone. Glad to meet all the new folks, and hope you can all make it back again next year!

And maybe one of these trips we'll actually shoot some gophers! (Sit down Dave...I still call BS on your "honey patch". :p :D)

First off I can't type while sitting
and secondly There were some witnesses......but you know how it goes you can only keep a secret between four people if three of them are dead......and after taking Kevin and Carmen to THE spot no one has heard from them........just kidding:D
