Stages are up for anyone who is going.

Looks like I'll be spending time at the range re-patterning every choke I have with all ammo I intend to use, out to 40 yards in 5 yard increments.

Looks like some tight shoot/no shoot steel and steel at distance.
Bringing some heavy 6's as insurance.

Never shot a MGM spinner before. Hopefully not up first on that stage.

Looking forward to 24 stages of shotgun fun.

That was a fun match.
Great squad to shoot with, and special thanks to our "squad mom" for the extra effort in organizing the score sheets, and all the moral support.

I think they should have called it a biathlon match seeing as we had to swim and shoot.
Damn was it hot/humid.
Definitely an endurance match.

Finally got to shoot an MGM spinner.
Overall I really liked the stages, even the ones I totally imploded on!!

Prize table had 6 or 7 shotguns and a whole host of other prizes from the sponsors.
We were actually squadded with the guys from AP Custom.
Great guys.

Next year's match should be bigger/better and I'm already looking forward to it.

It is pretty easy to implode on that many stages....let's you know that the head game is the more important part of a big match.

Great job though pauls...there are some pretty great shotgunners in front of you, and behind you!

Everybody had a great showing.
Regardless of heat, injury, or gun issues, the squad stayed positive and it really helped everyone out.

Here are a few of the stages I'm willing to show. The rest I am deleting from memory (both physically and mentally!!!!)
Definitely a learning experience that has already elevated my game.

Oh, and those metal plates are freakin TINY!! (or at least it seemed that way)

Didn't really get to see too many other squads.
Saw a couple of the new(ish) Remington Versamax, which actually has interchangeable parts with the M2, a couple 1100's but predominantly Benelli (M1 or M2)

There were a couple guys from the FNH Shooting team so I'm assuming they had FN's.

I'm super happy with the way my M2 ran.
especially considering I've done 99% of the "gunsmithing" myself.

Gun was so hot after one of the long stages, that I burned the inside of my gun case.

Oh, and there was an open shooter in our squad with a Saiga.
One of his mags was acting up. Was painful to watch.

Yes on the Load 2.
Saw the load two that Mark Otto makes. Like the Chameleon one better.
I've seen the Carbon Arms versions, but didn't see too many at the match.

Won a few AP Custom caddies so I'll play with those a bit, but for me the load 2 seems to be the most consistent so far.
We'll see though.

As for the 930, is it because the forend comes back as far as it does?
I say grab a file and a dremel and go to town on the forend and loading port!!!

No..I have shaved the forearm...etc.
It is very finiky qbout the second shell...if you don't grab them perfectly...the second shell won't feed...the. Benelli SN. and the 590 def wernt so finiky...also, Onagoth.went wild with the dremel....ask him how that worked out....lol

Onagoth.went wild with the dremel....ask him how that worked out....lol

That's just mean.. Lol .

The dremel tool... In the right hands an awesome, versatile gun smithing tool.
In the wrong hands... A good way to destroy a perfectly good firearm...lol.
