2012 Team Hoser 3-Gun Challenge

Pretty sure it isn't the intent, but unless I am reading incorrectly only rifles allowed in tac optics are ones that came with an optic from the factory. Not to mention not being able to put a rail/foregrip/etc on an AR15 and others...

You're reading it incorrectly. Externally visible internal modifications aren't allowed. Adding an optic isn't an internal modification, so you're GTG.

Just don't add two optics.

As Onagoth has pointed out. Re read the section
Rails etc are also gtg... Those items are bolt on EXTERNAL mods.
Hell.... They're not really mods... Just stuff bolted on.
Even a fore grip is good... However, slap on a bipod and you're bumped into open.

I will be collecting registrants division info. Prior to match day.
If you already know what division you will be shooting send an email to teamhoser@cogeco.ca

Not sure which division to sign up for.

Don't see one for high speed low drag equipment....cause that's just how I roll.

Is there an Extreme Open division or something?

Question: what are round counts typically like per stage, per firearm type?

Trying to figure out if I have ordered enough shotgun shell caddies or not. Will 20 shotgun rounds on my belt be enough do you think? I can put more on my vest at the expense of rifle mags if need be but don't want to screw around with the vest if I don't have to.

That'll be more than enough...... unless you're a really poor shooter.;)

Thanks. I was hoping to find a spot where I could park right outside my room, and leave what I could in the car. If somebody has local knowledge, that'd be great.

Registered shooters are encouraged to visit the match UPDATES page now and again to view the reminder re. ammunition rules as well as any other ifo that developes.

in regards to:
3.4 Ammunition containing tracer, incendiary, armor piercing, steel jacketed or steel/tungsten penetrator core projectiles is prohibited.

If a magnet sticks to the bullet its a no go? Therefore no chech surplus?
