2013 FNH 3-Gun

Well... Finally home after another great FNH 3-Gun championship.
'Would have been back sooner, but... 'Learned that in Berryville Pa. the so called "auto parts" stores don't actually carry the auto parts needed to re attach F150 brake calipers... 'Thank baby jesus for TSC.

Had a good time with our American 3-Gunnin' friends old and new... The Canadian invasion continues as well .

'Looking fwd to the Blueridge 3G next month :)

What about the hardware? Don't leave us hanging on what you guys brought back from the prize table!

IIRC three of the Canadian contingent walked away with pistols, but... Made other arrangements.
One of those three actually won two pistols.
One for score and the other from a draw...

My match was an absolute disaster.................but my prizes still were greater than match fee.

Puts our Canadian prize tables to shame... I mean c'mon, 325 competetors and $278000 USD worth of prizes...
That's $850 worth of swag per shooter...

'Geebus... The goodie bags handed out at registration are worth more than what we can manage to cobble together for a First place prize LoL

Industry doesn't know or understand the benefits of doing the right thing up north here. The need to help build their business and sponsoring events is a good way to do this.

Call me a heratic, but... Compared to the US there is no "industry" or "market" here.
As far as "knowing" or "understanding"... I just think they can't afford it.

The vast majority of the sponsorship at these matches comes form manufacturers with large, dare I say huge resellers (Brownells for example) coming in second.

I feel fortunate to be able to attend these events... 'Just dreaming they could happen here.

3 weeks we'll be at Rockcstle (again) for the BRM3G Championship... Probably the best overall 3-gun event on or near the east coast.
Life is good.
