Great weather. Not as hot as the Pistol nationals. Didn't get any video of the tough stages or long distance rifle stuff. Not that many long distance but had some challenges. Climbing up a platform and inside a shooting box where you couldn't go prone and firing at 6" by 6" plates (basically headshots) at 60m, 100m, 170m, and 250m and reengaging them again on a 60 slotted wall was challenging.

Another run and gun. Love the quick rifle stuff.

A straight up hoser stage. Love it.

Great little stage. They had two clay pigeons hanging in between three targets in two spots on this stage that you had to shoot for some accuracy in the middle of the blasting. Pistol was ballsy going for one mag but meh I'm only in Vegas once or twice a year. I was in the top 10 on this one.

Bridge start position then blast some flying birds, throw that down and hose some rifle then pistol to finish. Dropped a mag - needed to pick it up as I only brought two with me on the stage and I needed both.

Had a great time. Flying is a pain with three guns. Prize table was so-so from what I hear. There was only 24 guns on the table for my division. Picked up a CR Speed rig. Nice prize. Wish I new what I was doing on the long range rifle - really an art to it.

Nice runs.
Congrats on your finish as well. I'd be happy finishing where you did.

I agree with the long range rifle comment.
We don't really see it here in competitions and training for it can be a pain depending on what range you shoot at.

What shotgun you using? Looks like an M1.
Also looks like you lightened your bolt carrier?
Did I see a couple FTF's in your runs. Was it ammo related?

Any other events planned?
Would be nice to coordinate with more Canadians and get to a few of the larger 3 gun matches.
We have a decent contingent here in Ontario that like to go, but never really hear of many people from other provinces.

I am using an old M1 Benelli. The bolt has been lightened and ion bonded. The shell is in the action but not getting pushed up by the lifter. Its an aftermarket lifter but the shotgun never jams in north of the 49 configuration. Tells me the tube spring is too light.

I plan on going to the NWMultigun challenge. Everything is sold out with long wait list.

Would love to g o to FNH or Rockcastle but well see.

I hear you.
I got into AR15.com and just sent in my form for FNH but we'll see if I get in to that.

If there is interest, maybe some sort of coordination is made for future events.
At this point, I'm guessing it will have to be for next season.

As for the shotgun issue, I was going to suggest a longer mag spring.

Congrats again on the solid performance.

I'm confused. What do you do with your high capacity mags when you come back to Canada? I thought they were illegal here. Love watching this stuff, hopefully I can get into these competitions some day.
