2014 IPSC Nationals

For some competitors, the Nationals is just another L3 match and there are 3 of them within 3 weeks. But it may have something to do with making it worth coming...

that's pretty much the norm. BC is too far and too expensive, and we run the matches wrong and there are mountains and the air is cleaner and the women better looking you name it, Ontarions will come up with a reason for not attending

Wow, more out of country shooters attending than Ontario Shooters.. Something really odd about that. And only 3 QB'rs.
I really can't see an extra few bucks plane ticket over other areas like NB or MB to be a big deal for many.

I hope Warren gets a commission cheque for bringing in the Aussies, neat that Edward is coming from Spain, he's a good #### and a helluva competitor. Finally meeting Donavon should be fun too

Why wouldn't people want to shoot in BC?

Lots of reasons people choose one match over another. One reason this year is the World Shoot. If I was shooting Open or Limited, I'd probably be more focused on shooting stateside where I could compete with standard magazines. Ontario and Quebec shooters could fit in 3-4 major matches for the cost of the nationals.

It's the same every time it's held in BC, same as when it's held on the East coast, less BC people go there, less easterners come here. Guys in the middle go either way, for less too.
