2014 IPSC Ontario Provincials!

Don't know about that, but it seem like there is always a race who'd post the most obnoxious comment about the match.

I'd quote you on this: if you don't like it, why don't you show us how it must be done.

I thought it was a valid question. Why you would think the question was obnoxious baffles me, but you certainly would be the expert when it comes to obnoxious!

I certainly will be taking more of a look at hosting a Provincial match when profits would likely be $25,000....not taking into account IPSC Ontario's contribution to the match.

I am sure financials from the provincials will be available for you to scrutinize at the AGM. Pretty sure the match committee is trying not to operate at a loss so the burden of a loss does not weigh on the backs of IPSC Ontario members that are not participating in this years big match.

For your next comment you may need to work on your own wording, so responses won't baffle you that much. But last I've heard your club is not interested to host L3 matches because of the disagreements with IPSC HQ.

I did not realize previous Provincials were operated at a loss.

Is there a race to see who can charge the most and give the least, that I am unaware of?....maybe I missed the memo!

Craig,
I hear you. I have addressed this issue with BOD and had long and positive conversation and exchange of ideas.
For me it is not a problem with a cost, as setting up a precedence where clubs will hike up the fees based on what is the cost of the most important match in Ontario,
therefore ipsc will become a sport of the rich. I wont go into specifics, but this is the cost we have to pay if we want to shoot this match.
Another issue is quality and quantity. If organizers gonna build a great stages and provided higher round count than 200, cost could be justifiable.
I guess we have to wait and see what kind of match this year provincials is going to be, before making any further comments.
I think, this is going to be my first provincials since I have started shooting I will most likely miss.

Take Care

Just a note for whoever did the registration page, you might want to check your banking law and agreements with your Credit card processor, it is usually either a violation of the agreement and possibly illegal, to charge a fee to accept credit cards. Cost of goods or items must be the same regardless of form of payment. Depending on the agreement you've signed penalties can be quite severe.
But maybe Ontario is different.

That is incorrect..........EESA has no position what so ever with regard to hosting L3 matches. Now ..........I John Evers most certainly do have a policy with regard to MDing Level III matches. As long as Nick and Vince hold IPSC hostage. I am not willing to invest my personal time as a MD for an event that would be used to line their well feathered nests.

I have however MD'd I think 5 Level III matches over my 15 years of IPSC shooting compared to your...........?????

Why does it seem like some people are not happy unless they are stirring the pot or making others unhappy? I don't get it. In the words of the immortal Bob Marley - Don't worry - be happy.
Kudos to you guys for taking on the daunting task of running a match.

I give it to you, your #### was longer than mine 3 years ago when you run your last L3 match... But while John Evers is a president of your club it is all the same as club is not going to host L3 matches.

I have not been President of EESA Since the end of January.........

Now how many L3s have you MD'd??

I already answered that. Do you want me to convert it from metric into inches for you or what?

PS: I guess now your club may have some hopes...

Eugene, I will put my work at EESA up against any and all comers........ and actually you did not answer the question but we all know the answer really is ZERO.

Wishing all the best for the IPSC Ontario Provincial's Match Team.... surely the match will be great!
I was looking forward to shooting the Provincials this year, and had set aside time from shooting south of the border, but due to the Price Point of the match, I will not attend....(i am sure this has many heart broken...lol).

Is there no way a moderator can clean up this thread and remove the comments from the 4-5 guys bit@#ng and moaning about the same crap over and over. Keep it about the provincials and take your idiotic arguing elsewhere.
