Changes have occurred, I am coming, just not sure if accompanied by wife or not. Her work and life schedule has changed with the advent of a troubled teen.
Started him shooting last month, getting him ready to come to the EVENT. Having never shot a rifle, and being a gangsta from the city of Sarnia, he didn't know what those thingies were on the top of the rifle at the front and back. He couldn't hit a 1gal naphtha can at 10yds! He was starting to get the hang of it by the end of the first brick and could hit that can every time at 25yds. No group, but could hit the can somewhere each shot. He hit a 7 1/4" skil saw blade 3 out of 10 times at that same range. I brought out the resetting target. It has 4-2" diamonds and a 3" diamond in the middle. Hit the four, they flip up, hit the 5th and it resets. He couldn't hit any of them at 10 yds. Said it was impossible. I missed my first two rounds then hit it and reset it twice without a miss. He decided that shooting was bull####! His usual response to anything someone does better than him, regardless of their previous experience.
But, NOW, he has solved his shooting problem for quite some time. He is not allowed near a weapon of any kind since he and a buddy held up a store last week with an air soft pistol. Frickin' genius boy, gotta tell ya!
