2014 SHOT SHOW: Elcan SpecterTR 1-3-9 Optical Weapon Sight

I am shopping for some optic to top my Ruger SR762... I think i will wait this one to show up at one of our dealer... Another solved problem... JP.

Price doesn't matter, still awesome.

The C79A2 on our service rifles is well-made and has glass like super-expensive binoculars, but no ranging reticule, just a simple post and crossbar. To adjust the elevation with the knob takes longer than just looking through a BDC reticule.

This or the Elcan Specter 1x-4x would be an answer for that. Also, this would be IDEAL for the idea of a DMR that keeps being bandied about (AR-10 or similar).

Hi greentip, thank you for posting this.

Is the 70mm+ eye relief what you personally witnessed or is this what the manufacture is stating?

Do you know how much it weighs? I'm interested to know how it measures up to the SpecterDR in the weight department.

Thanks for the post GT. One of the highlights of the show for us (along with the new CDN Made Tanget scope, which deserve its own thread). The 1-3-9 switch is as slick as goose ####. Dead excited to get these in. Release is scheduled for July 2014.

Any idea on cost up here?

Those worth waiting, will put my next S&B on the back burner until those get here, it look like a winner... JP.
