I got to shoot the Lancer L30 at the Media Day and I must say it is a fun gun to shoot. So I went back to the booth to dig up more about it. These rifles are a bit different from the run of the mil 308 AR. First of all, unlike its mini brother L15, the receiver extension nut is now integrated directly to the receiver. The receiver is actually wrapping around the barrel nut instead of the other way around in regular AR. Second, the lower receiver comes with a modulus magazine well, similar to the L15 lower.
The match variant comes with a Bartlein barrel while the MBR version has a chromelined barrel. MSRP starts at 1975 USD for the MBR and up to 3499 USD for the LTR.
