2014 SHOW SHOW: Crye Precision Six12 Shotgun

Because depending on the RCMPs interpretation of "semi-automatic",
a double-action revolver shotgun might need to be plugged at 5 rounds.

guys cooommmoonnn....

it has a revolver action it will be considered a hand gun stock or not overall lenghth means nothing here even # of centerfire rounds means nothing here if its got a revolver action its a hand gun.

example : rossi circuit judge rifle

Curious, for a set up like this, would you want the muzzle of the shotgun to be longer than the rifle or the opposite?

You want the shotgun to be longer because you might "press" it against the door (at an angle to relieve pressure). If the rifle was longer it would be in the way.

This is really cool and I can't see any reason why it'd be restricted or prohibited. Somebody in the black rifles forum mentioned something about the standalone stock making it a bullpup and thus prohibited. That doesn't make sense; the action is bullpup regardless of the standalone stock being attached or not. Whether the RCMP considers a double-action actuated cylinder to be "semi-automatic" or not I guess only time will tell. One would think that it would be considered manually actuated since the trigger pull is what actually actuates the cylinder to spin and "chamber" another round.
Either way, you've gotta love the outside-of-the-box thinking from Crye and I'm looking forward to see more about these.

Umm, that would be a first. There are already examples of six shot revolving actions that are non-restricted. Example: The Uberti carbine.

See above. The Rossi Circuit judge uses the same frame as an existing pistol.

Thanks for sharing.

I like it, cool, sleek design - no pump to manipulate or another magazine hanging off the gun. The other masterkeys look so bulky and counter-intuitive that it would be better to just have a separate shotgun for breaching.
