Portugal is just lovely. Airport customs and police were a breeze and they both spoke English. The range is less than 40 minutes from Lisboa. I shot three practice pegs yesterday. The targets were a bit closer than the norm and much faster with more curves. Our hotel a 5 star at 104E which included indoor parking, internet and a huge breakfast buffet. We purchased two 1.5 L bottles of spring water, a 6 pack of mineral water, a bottle of scotch for 10.20E! Less than $15 CDN! Our supper which included the most expensive white win, a dorado, a plate of garlic shrimps and huge salad, crème Brule, two small bottles of water and a good porto, was all of 46.20E or about $69CDN that includes service and taxes!

Another recommendation for Lisbon here, though I have not been there to shoot. You can find expensive restaurants and shops in Lisbon but it is also possible to find great food at a bargain. Shopping in the grocery store for food and wine is really cheap.
