2015 Archery Deer season

sooo, today's opener, had it all planned out, but i needed to pick a tag prior to heading out, just to find out MNR system's been down since the morning. what a luck

and i know its my own fault, procrastinating till last minute, but hey, life is busy, now i have to wait till monday.

post your stories and picks please, love reading good hunting story and i am yet to meet a hunter who doesn't know how to tell a story

Out early, back late. Strong Winds all day. Saw a Doe & 2 fawns, also had a Hen and a flock of 10 plus turkeys walk directly under my stand on their way. Good day in the Bush.

I went coyote hunting while the system was down (already had small game).

went out early monday morning, only to rediscover that my ground blind is really too small to get a shot off with my compound , i need a light weight tree stand that can be set up in minute or two with minimal noise, though comfort of being out of the light drizzle was nice but no deer spotted yet

spooked a grouse when he came too close to the back of my blind

I use a Lone Wolf, super portable, fast, and pricey but I'll have it forever

love Sitka, don't need blind or tree stand when wearing that stuff alas it's above my budget right now
