Just a reminder to everyone that entries for the 2015 F-Class Nationals are scheduled to close on June 14th. If you are planning on attending and haven't sent in your form, or received a reminder email from me please let me know you are coming, and get your form in ASAP. Entry forms are available here: FCNC Entry Form

The competitor list is growing daily, and reads like a who's who of competitive F-Class in North America. You don't want to miss it.

Late fees for entries kick in on June 15. If you are coming to Nationals and haven't sent your form PLEASE let me know so at least I can log it, and save you the extra $100 (which I will subsequently split with you at the mess). :)

And something even more important than a late fee (which of course you should split 50:50 with Scott;), is that after 15-June entries are taken only on a "space available" basis. With the wonderfully strong number of entries to the F-Class National Championships this year, there is the possibility that a late entry will get you a spot on the waiting list rather than a guaranteed entry.

Can the general public show up to watch..? parking etc

Yes. Though to be honest it can be a bit boring to watch an F-Class or fullbore match, especially without someone to show you around if you have not been there before. Ideally, make prior arrangements with someone you know from CGN who will be there, who can show you around and talk you through things. But failing that, walk into the DCRA office (45 Shirley Blvd, on the road in front of the range), tell them you are here to visit and look around, and maybe they can connect you with someone to show you around.

This event commences this Thursday August 13. With 100 plus attendees in F TR and F Open Classes coming in from
Canada,USA and GB this promises to be one heck of a great competition.
Some will be on the road as I post and others packing like myself to make to journey. Travel well !
Looking forward to another great time on the "greens" of the Connaught Ranges.
Hopefully someone with a camera and computer savy can keep this post updated with some pics and info
as the days unfold....

FCNC 2015 ......completed

Congratulations to all who attended , all who organized and worked very hard to make this event another great success.
Over 100 entrants of some of the Top shooters from Canada, USA and Great Britain were in attendance with a great addition of
newer and "first time to Connaught" shooters. The future of F Class looks BRIGHT!
It was great to see and visit with some old friends and even greater to meet a lot of new friends. Counted myself fortunate to have been able to shoot shoulder to shoulder with some of the World's best and again to have the opportunity to learn from them.( Also
was glad to have actually finished the entire 9 matches.)
I think it could be said we experienced a rather mild Connaught few days but still got to taste the rain, heat and thick mirage it can dish out. On Connaught....you might get frustrated but you'll never get bored.
Hopefully all who travelled so far have made it home safely .

Special Congratulations to Shiraz Balolia (F Open) winning his 2nd Grand Aggregate (2 years in a row) and to James Crofts as the winner of the Grand in FTR.As you can see it was a very close race both in F Open and FTR with only a few points separation.

Still and even very close race for the Canadian F Class Bisley Championship

In the Lum 4 man Team Matches
USA Open won the Open and NC Boys (US) won in FTR

Of NOTE : Team Canada won the International 8 man event over Teams USA and Great Britain
However I have been unable to find a link to the results page.Am hoping that a full report along with some pics will be
posted later. Hats off to all the members and congrats on you successes. Hard work pays off.

I'm sure there are a number of attendees with pictures and stories they have brought home and am looking forward to
seeing some posted here.

With a little less than 2 years to go to Connaught Ranges hosting The F Class World's Championships in 2017,I will expect next years
Nationals to be even larger. Considering how FAST time flies , I would think that starting your plans to attend now would not
be premature.
Again, my Thanks to All and Congratulations on a fine Match.
