The International Defensive Pistol Association is excited to announce that the 2015 IDPA World Championship is now scheduled for March 25-28, 2015, at the RL Shooting Club in Caguas, Puerto Rico. This match will host over 300 competitors from all around the world.

Hmmmm, 2015 IDPA World Shoot - 300 competitors (and they're having trouble getting people to sign up) - 18 Stages and 250 rounds. Compared to 2014 IPSC World Shoot - just under 1500 competitors - 30 stages and over 500 rounds!!!!!

I would hope the shooting sports were past such things. Guess not.

The location and the $275 match fee is a problem, but I think the biggest stumbling block is fee to bring in the gun /s into a anti gun country.

I've also heard the the food and accomodations are expensive too.

Really? The match fee for the IPSC World Shoot was in the order of $600.00 USD yet still managed to attract nearly 1500 competitors.

He is sore that IDPA gave him a lifetime ban.
I'm not sure of all of the details as I saw it from the sidelines and quite frankly don't care.
He blamed those around him (presumably including me based on interactions since) but failed to look in the mirror....
