2015 mule deer, no crazy story spotted him in some scrub brush chasing does and Shot him broadside at 100 yards or so with a 257wby and 90gr gmx handload.

Smoking nice mature typical 4x4. Seems like his brows are sporting a bit of junk. Probably his prime year as a typical. I would bet that he went over 225 on the hooks. A real tank.

Thanks, I passed on hundreds of bucks looking for something heavy or trashy and he fit the bill nicely, of course shortly after we found a monster well over 210" non typ. Chased him for a few days but could never get close enough for my friend to get a close enough shot for his comfort.
