2015 PRS Finale stats.

There is a link to the new rule book in post #3. The link in the op will sumarize the equipment in this year's finale. I just finished shooting the GAP Grind, and equipment matched last year's blog pretty closely. Most common scopes were Bushnell, Kahles and Vortex Gen2.

Oh man I really hope this happens! If you build it they will come!

Thanks for the kind words PGW Steve, and peterdobson! I can't express enough how much fun PRS style matches are, even more so with great sponsors like you guys!! We are working hard to bring an official Canadian round of the PRS series to Alberta in 2016. Watch and shoot friends.. watch and shoot!

I think The Longest Mile could be utilized for some PRS style matches, you would just have to limit stages to 2 or 3 per day. The other factor would be the number of shooters, capacity couldn't be more than 40 or 50 there or you'd be looking at some looooong days!

This is the range nearly all of the individual stages for the GAP Grind were held on. Three other stages were head on another 100 yards range. The squad shot all three as one firing line and it took all of 10 min for a squad to shoot all 3 counting walking to the targets and back after each. The majority of stages were held in the area you see in the picture. It's maybe 150 yards wide and had 12 firing points (stages). Firing points were a car-length or two wide. You were often shooting at the same berms as other stages, but on different targets. Many stages were firing across each other on the range.

150 shooters shot 15 stages in one day. We started at 8am and finished around 3 or 4pm. And we had a one hour lunch in there provided by Bartlein Barrels.
