2015 Rimfire plans/goals?

Doing an IPSC AR build for Mini Rifle. Will post pics, of course  Fixed buttstock, competition trigger, ground up build from stripped lower.

For myself, I'd like to try my hand at some DIY trigger work on a 10/22, and possibly get some new parts for my Savage TRR-SR.

It's not that hard. Following the thread in this forum and some of the supplied links, I was able to get a reliable 2.75lb, crisp and clean trigger with very short reset. Wrecking hanging clays with it was pure pleasure as I was dealing destruction with every light trigger pull :50cal:

I am really hoping that there are more rifles that will be introduced in the 17WSM chambering. Think that the cartridge had potential but believe it will sink or float depending on how much the industry, (not just a few select companies), embraces it.

If I don't get a 17WSM in 2015 I do plan to do another 10/22 custom build.

Cool thread idea.

I put a millet LRS on my Bmag a while ago and havent sighted it in since the new rail (EGW) so I'll be doing that, and have a AICS airsoft stock coming in the mail to try and swap the BMAG into it, should be here shortly as soon as UPS gets there act together, also was gifted a lakefield mk II that has some sticky extractor issues, gonna get that figured out as well I guess and maybe find some glass for it.

I'm hoping to actually find time to really sit down with some good quality ammo and do some target shooting with my 22s to see what they are really capable of. I have a few that shoot great with the cheap stuff, so I'd like to try with some good Eley, or Lapua ammo.

I think I want to find a precision .22 rifle for '15 and get out more with my mkIII and buckmark. It would be real nice to find a reasonable price and quantity on some .22 boolets, but if not I have enough to shoot at a slow, steady pace.

Really hoping to do a lot of .22 shooting next year. Got some good guns, some good ammo, now all I need is the time to do it.

My AR build is coming along nicely.. Got the lower (thanks SFRC), got the parts kit/A2 stock (thanks Tetragon) and got the Geissele 3gun trigger (thanks Arms East). The trigger is EVIL! 2.75lbs pull, FAST reset, liability nightmare :D

Going to get a Boyd's pro varmint (aka tacticool) stock, and bottom metal for my Mk II FV. Then going to shoot a bunch and get nice tight groups! Also going to practice more offhand with the Henry.

I'd like to first off build a custom metal tactical adjusting stock for my mark2.
I'd like to continue restoring older 22 s. The last couple I've done turned out way better than I expected
I'd also like to take another coyote with my 22 mag. My hunting style plays in well for its capabilities. I dress in winter whites with cheese cloth ghillie for the gun and scope and bury myself into snow covered banks and call an ambush coyotes on the ditch ice
I'd also like to hit my 8"steel target at 500 yards with my 17 mach 2. I believe this will be a great challenge or at least a good waste of ammo
Finally just spend more days sitting on the tail gate bouncing golf balls and pop cans with my mint 94/22 and Rossi 37 takedown
Both are in pristine condition and make my grin when ever I cycle their actions

I have two days of prairie dog shooting in Colorado booked for May...
In addition to a couple of centerfire rifles I'll be giving my CZ455 in .17HMR a workout.

Since I had laser eye surgery I can now shoot iron sights again so my plan is to strip the scopes off a couple of my rimfires and get reaquainted with iron sights yippee

Think I am going to bite the bullet(pun intended) and buy a cz 455 american. Then I'll have one .22 with a scope, one with a red dot and one with iron sights. Going to try to make it to the range more often as well

This fall I picked up a heck of a deal on a MKII TR, and started working with it to find out what it likes. First day out, straight out of the box, I found groups of 1/4" - 1/2" at 50 with the right ammo. I also had time to shoot 1 group at 100 - less than an inch with full factory trigger weight.
I haven't had time to go back to the range since, but I did crank the trigger down to minimum and throw an EGW rail on in prep for the next trip. My goal is to stay sub MOA at 200 this year.
I also got invited to shoot at a gopher field this spring, which is something I haven't done in about 25 years.
