2016 Canadian IPSC Nationals

Too bad there isn't some software that will allow you to register, pay, and self squad. That would be cool. It should also limit the number of entries.

Spots for the Meaford PRS match are sold using Shopify. No reason IPSC couldn't be doing something similar.

He was being sarcastic and implying they should use practiscore. But it's harder to 'strategically tweak' who gets in and who doesn't when a match employs practiscore registration.

Is that sarcasm? Yes Sheldon it is...
There are far simpler e-commerce solutions than practiscore

There are many solutions to registration out there, some much better than Practiscore too, and they don't cost much, MOS, WIRTEX and others. They provide live scoring, printing, squading etc. not that it makes any difference now of course.
I'm looking forward to the match, I'll be there all the days regardless.

After reading several pages here - 'strategically tweaking who doesn't get in' appears to be the problem.

I don't think we need separate nationals. I am shooting matches with more than 400 people and 20-40 stages, that are shot in the same period of time, maybe 1 extra day, so I don't understand why it's an issue in Canada (and this is not pointed at the people running this years nationals as I know they will present a great match)

We don't have the facilities. Give me a range with 10 large bays and I could put on a 4 day match with 400 people and 20 stages. When you have 6 bays or 7 bays it reduces that number by a lot.

Hey - Hirsch Precision is subcontracting us to sell Vhitivhouri powder at our table at the match, so those of you driving can get the best powder in the world if you want.
I need to know which flavors people will want so they can get it from thier magazine (which not around Halifax) in advance. I'll have lots of N320, some N350, 3N38 and 3N37 - is there any other flavor you guys might want?

Sean, the only other two I can think of for pistol are n310 and n105.

On April 25, this is how I was politely told to F$&k O%f.

To know for sure if they are hating on you or if maybe others from waiting list above you got the call for the dropouts, you should drive up and just try and walk on.

I think it would be important to let people know what days they are shooting ahead of time so they can book flights and hotels accordingly.

Flights and hotels doesn't change, but for everyone car pulling from hotels to the range it would be useful to know if people who travel together are actually shooting on the same schedule or need to find some alternative ride.

Unless, of course, match would provide a shuttle service, at least from match hotel to the range and back for several times a day, so competitors won't have to worry about the schedule.
