that is why I am building my own now, but even if they just released the different bolts for the various calibers they promised it would be a huge help

The original "bushmaster" is no longer the "bushmaster" you know and love QC and overall quality have been reduced to a minimum their emphasis is on profit and not quality. If you want bushmaster quality buy a wIndham weaponry. If you want top quality buy a DD or colt/diemaco.

My company canceled the bushmaster contract due to some of the " milspec" parts not meeting the minimum milspec standards. If your going to punch holes on paper that may be acceptable if it's anything more then that explore other options

none of those rifles you speak of are NR like the ACR can be and there is no other NR platform worth working off of for caliber conversions at the moment IMO
