I think the montana could use a flat non glare finish. And they could lose a couple ounces by using an alluminum trigger guard. Other than that they're perfect. Love the possibility of a 22-250.

Exactly. They are too stupid to figure that out though. The Forbes rifle is a good example. All kinds of right handed ones around still. No lefty's left.

I don't need science to tell me if they made the Montana in 7x57 I would buy two!

Just about everything you right handed whiners are complaining about can be done to an existing Montana. I feel so bad for you all.

Floorplate would be a major plus - a bolt handle that's not a glorified stove bolt would appeal to me aswell.

I sold my Montanas for that very reason.

I replaced them with Kimber Classics (walnut stocks with very little increase in weight)
and a Winchester Extreme Weather .. all in stainless.

I'm in the minority I guess and can't see any advantage to a floorplate model...I dig blind mag/ADL configuration...
