I'm rather new to long range shooting and was fortunate enough to sign up for the course. I have a Rem 700 sps with Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50 AO in .308 and Axis II with stock scope (to be replaced) in .223 small bipod for Rem and medium bipod for axis. My precision shooting to date has mainly been squirrels and starlings with the occasional fur bearer with my high powered air rifle and some 'yotes at 250 m max with old Axis .223. I have a typical range kit (for handguns) and suitable clothing for whatever weather conditions. I have good binoculars but no spotting scope. I have been checking ballistic charts for my rifles, scopes, and ammo. Any suggestions for additional kit or tips in general?
