I am pleased to say that our Tactical Division shooter ended up 5th overall for the seasons and two of us are in the top 100 for Open Division. So, we will be part of the Precision Rifle Blog stats this year.
It was a VERY tough match on very challenging terrain. We were up on hills/mountains firing across to other ones and into the valleys. Wind was blowing, times were tight, targets were small and some courses of fire had more than a 180 degree arc or fire into different valleys. 7/10 on any stage was a superb score, a 4 was above average (and these were the top shooters in the series). All targets were painted grey so no one had early morning advantage. This made some of them extremely challenging to find on the grey rocky terrain, even when they were right next to the colored markers you had trouble finding some of them. You often had to identify them by finding the straps they were held on. The terrain was small rocks and cactuses everywhere. Knee pads were a must-have. You had to carry ALL of your gear through each stage.
