2016 Range Day - October 15th

This year we are hosting a range day at The Sportsmens Club Galt on Saturday October 15th from 10am to 4pm.

Product and Reps will be on site and available for you to test out from Smith & Wesson, Vortex Optics, Grand Power, Colt Canada, F1 Firearms and Canuck.

No License required, this is a fully supervised event.

Admission is free however there will be a nominal charge to buy tickets to shoot. We will add to this thread as more details are confirmed. For now mark the date.

We now have a CZ-75 Shadow 2 that will be on the line at our range day so if you want to try one out this will be your chance.

Reps from Smith & Wesson, Vortex, Grand Power and F1 Firearms will also be on hand to answer questions.

It is shaping up to be a great day on the range.

We now have Trigger Tech confirmed to be there as well as Grand Power, Vortex Optics, F1 Firearms, Colt Canada and Smith & Wesson.

Just a note, please do NOT bring your own firearms to this event. This is not a "come shoot your firearm at Galt" day. It is a come see the firearms we have on display, talk to the reps day and if you want to try any of the firearms you will be able to for a nominal cost.

The one and only exception to this is that Grand Power Canada will be offering armourer services and if you want your Grand Power Armoured you can bring it for the purpose only but please keep it cased and secured until advised otherwise.

Will trigger tech have any ARs to try out their triggers or is it just a rep? (Also, any chance S&W will equip one of their M&P cores with an rds?)

We will have at least one AR with a trigger in it and some trigger test units.

We do not have an M&P Core for the event.

There is no charge for me to check out your gun, unless you want to upgrade sights etc.
As there is only one of me and I'm also needed on the line to support demonstrations of the Grand Power pistols, we are considering holding a separate Grand Power day in the store.
It would be easier to hold a clinic for interested users in that setting.

We can now confirm that there will be a representative from Colt Canada on site for our range day.

Also if you are bringing friends and family that do not have eye & ear protection we will have sets available for $2.

Our Savage rep stopped by yesterday and dropped off a Stealth in .308 and an A17 Semi Auto .17HMR and both will be on the line Saturday.

Thanks for the event - Managed to hit a golf ball with the .22!
Good variety of stuff out on the line - Got to try the Shadow 2 and GP X-Cal as well as try out some AR-15s and optics.
