Hey guys,

Here it is, the annual SHOT Show Girls and Guns thread.
This is starting to become a bit of a tradition.
And it is a duty and responsibility that I take very seriously...

It did seem that there were fewer models at the booths, though.
Not sure if this due to budget cutbacks, or a more "correct" approach.

I still have more photos to sort, so I will add them over the next few days.

As always, keep the comments polite. I will be sharing the photos with the models that graciously posed for me, so they will likely be visiting this page.

Cheers,

Dean

First up are Irina and Yulia from Century Arms. I have more photos of them with rifles I will post later.

As often happened, I would approach the models, ask them if they wished to pose for photos.
I would begin posing them and photographing them, then a large crowd would suddenly appear, to shoot over my shoulder!

WTF happened to my photos?
They WERE visible a few minutes ago.
About half of my other threads are missing pics too.

EDIT, hey, we are back in business!

Yep...
I saw the Imgur thread shortly afterwards.
From that thread:
Well thats forking annoying.
I was just starting to upload my SHOT Show girls photos...

What burns my ass the most is that I used to be with PB but my SHOT Girls thread got so much traffic it used to go over the bandwidth limit and shut down for the remainder of the month.
"Use Imgur, it has no limit" I was told.

Also from Kalashnikov USA, is Kristina.

Oops! Finger on the trigger in several pics. I should have caught that.
Perhaps I was distracted by the long legs... :)

I have several more of Yana with a Saiga 12 gauge (and high heels!) that I will post later.

Once again, Yana.
This time she is holding a Saiga 12 gauge, based on the Kalashnikov AK action.

Thank you.

Next is Yael, in the Artillery Throne.
Lucky Shot sells all sorts of trinkets made from used cases. Bottle openers, etc.
This year, they really stepped it up with this thing.

Once again, from Century Arms, we have Yulia and Irina.
They were busy signing posters the first day, these photos are taken later on.
Yulia is the blonde on the left, Irina is on the right.

From ADA Australian Defence Apparel, we have Tarra (brunette) and Misty Rose (blonde)

These two models, Tarra and Misty Rose, caused a bit of excitement on the first day. They were covered in not much more than a layer of paint!
The camo “T-shirt” was actually a body-painting, not clothing. True, they did have small stickers (“pasties”) covering their nipples, but most of the breast was merely painted.
For most of the day, as long as they remained in their booth, this was fine. However, when they went for a break, somebody complained…
Apparently, there was a bit too much under-boob going on. :)
So, for the next three days, they had to wear a bra that was painted to match the body-painting.
I told them they should visit Canada, because we are OK with that sort of thing!

The artwork took an artist an hour to apply to each of them.
And it had to be removed each evening and redone the following morning, four times in total.
The artwork for both models was done by Robin Slonina at Skin City Bodypaint studio in Las Vegas.
Robin is also a judge on the TV show Skin Wars, which is about body painting.

Although they are representing Australian Defence Apparel, both Tarra and Misty are local Las Vegas models.

Finally, from Dillon Aero, is Aubrie.
Aubrie was also featured in last years calendar, and was at last years SHOT also.

The gun is the Dillon Aero M134-H mini-gun. Basically a scaled down version of the Vulcan cannon. It is 7.62x51 cal.

The gun behind her is the same M134-H mini-gun in a sleek pod for mounting on an aircraft. It carries 3000 rounds of 7.62x51 ammo.

Same model, Aubrie, the next day in a new outfit.
And a better view of the gun pod. (If you notice...)
