2016 Shotgun of the Year: 1919 Match~ BACK IN STOCK!! *GENERATION 2*

Thanks , I will . Too bad ,I like the set-up of this rifle .

I would just like to point out that this is a 12ga shotgun. If you like it's design and want as close as you can get in NR format, the ATRS MV could be converted to .50 beo but is certain to be a pricey endeavor likely over $4k, and with decent furniture it will exceed $5k, maybe even 6.

Hello,

I currently own a Derya MK-10 vr-101. I have spare 5rnd mags for the Derya and I was wondering if these mags will fit into the MK1919 that I will be purchasing from you shortly? Or are the MK1919 mags a different beast altogether?

Thanks

Not quite sure, but it is likely. The mags for many Turkish semi-autos come from the same supplier

The photos I've seen of the older versions have a smaller mag release and smaller bolt release, the feature I dont like on this version is that the mag release looks real easy to accidentally activate.

Are both the plastic and metal lowers unprotected around the mag release?

They are unprotected, but the spring pressure is substantial enough to make it not easy to accidentally hit

Got a picture of the two lowers? Are both unprotected around the mag release?

Anyone having issues with accidentally dropping the mag?

They are unprotected, but you wont ever accidentally drop the mag. Its not setup in any way that you'd ever have a problem with that.

You can accidentally drop the bolt by setting the gun down on its left side though. This is common with many of these 12 gauge semis. However, its not as MUCH of a problem with this one because the forward charging handle raises the gun off the table (or wherever your setting it down) so the bolt release doesnt touch... it only accidentally drops if you set it on something soft or if the forward handle is hanging over the side of the surface. My Derya was awful for this. Every time you set it down the bolt would drop. My MKA 1919 has only done it once.

Couple more questions

1) can the buffer tube be replaced with AR15 buffer tubes to get more than 3 positions?
2) can the safety be replaced with other AR15 safeties as I found the safety too small/thin
3) can the bolt release be replaced as I want to run a BAD lever

Great looking gun, happy to hear mags being released accidentally shouldn't be an issue.

Will ask the manufacturer and get back to you
