Towards the end of the draws for the prize table, once things were pretty well picked over, the cases began being picked and guys appearing faster than could be recorded and I apologize to our suppliers of the door prizes for this. Various shirts, hats, CDs, and one $50 gift certificate went to shooters unknown in seconds.
The catered supper was really good and everyone enjoyed that Friday evening.
Carla W., Brian W.'s wife, cooked and sold hamburgers, hot dogs, chips & pop on the 1100 yd firing line and this was a great thing and she will be doing this again for us in matches to come this year.
Weather wise, perfect, zero rain and mixed sun and clouds, with variable south winds, add some west or east at times, and go from 4 mph - 12 mph in the early mornings, to 12-24 mph in gusts in the afternoons. Pretty easy to go from the 5 or V ring to the 1,2 or 3 ring if you miss the directional change, add velocity changes that will also toss your bullet either up or down vertically made it a great weekend IMO, very tricky and challenging. Day by day, the top 5-10 guys in Fopen were but 5 points apart!
Team results - we had six teams this year with a of possible 900-180v for the teams (4 man teams 2+15 at 800, 900 and 1000) and those Dutch Rudders took the agg from last years winners, Team NorthStar, this year
