Towards the end of the draws for the prize table, once things were pretty well picked over, the cases began being picked and guys appearing faster than could be recorded and I apologize to our suppliers of the door prizes for this. Various shirts, hats, CDs, and one $50 gift certificate went to shooters unknown in seconds.

The catered supper was really good and everyone enjoyed that Friday evening.

Carla W., Brian W.'s wife, cooked and sold hamburgers, hot dogs, chips & pop on the 1100 yd firing line and this was a great thing and she will be doing this again for us in matches to come this year.

Weather wise, perfect, zero rain and mixed sun and clouds, with variable south winds, add some west or east at times, and go from 4 mph - 12 mph in the early mornings, to 12-24 mph in gusts in the afternoons. Pretty easy to go from the 5 or V ring to the 1,2 or 3 ring if you miss the directional change, add velocity changes that will also toss your bullet either up or down vertically made it a great weekend IMO, very tricky and challenging. Day by day, the top 5-10 guys in Fopen were but 5 points apart!

Team results - we had six teams this year with a of possible 900-180v for the teams (4 man teams 2+15 at 800, 900 and 1000) and those Dutch Rudders took the agg from last years winners, Team NorthStar, this year :(

Keith, 2nd time around I got one of the Cabelas Rifle Cases of that helps.
(Brittany and I were also part of the rudders ;) she was our Junior Adjutant/Team Manager in charge of Licorice. LOL)

Thanks to all who put on the match, it went off without a hitch. It was a well run event.

I also have to say thanks to the sponsors, without their support this shoot would not be what it is today.

Yes, the sponsors are a wonderful bunch that really believe in our sport. I had a great time and couldn't believe the applause when I finally picked up a shooting trophy, thank you all for being so kind.
Hope to see every one again next year in (hopefully) Winnipeg. John.

Terrific Job Saskatchewan and thanks to all of you. Major Thanks to PGW, P. Reibin, Joe Who, Dennis and all the Sponsors I could not name with a gun to my head. Nice to see you all again. Looks like toward the end I could have used the 5'er I sent over to Harry, Dave. Oh well there's always next year. Congrats to Mr. Thibeau and Mr. Hulbert. Well done in trying conditions.
Cheers

I think I found my issue, I and my rifle shoot good at 800 and 900 and then I go stupid at 1000 and play chase the spotter instead of watching wind flags. I could probably have 10-15 points back if I was not playing chase the spotter at 1000 but that's "should have, could have" thinking. Next year maybe....

Glad to hear you got your door prize from last year Greg.

A VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO PWG, our main sponsor, who has donated BIG TIME at every PGW WCFCC match! This year, they gave a complete 50 Cal system and a Coyote action. That is over $10,000 in door prizes they gave us this year alone!

Thanks to Cal and Frank for getting all the awards, Vicky for running the line as RO, Gord for lining up the food, Dennis for lining up the tent, tables and chairs, and of course thanks to our target crew and pitt boss Chuck for doing such a great job down range, and also Doug for getting the new power connected for the campground expansion and the sea can moved just in time.

Everyone that attended, PLEASE call or send a Thank You card to the supplier of your door prize you picked out. Your door prize supplier is listed above.

I little thanks goes a long ways towards next years door prizes.
