Yes, Thanks to Rod & John for their efforts. Thanks to those who traveled some distance to shoot & compete. Many thanks to Mr Cox for stepping up & graciously donating some trophy's. A big thank you to the other sponsors & other people who helped in putting this event on. Last but not least, thanks to the kids who pulled the targets. Nice to see some familiar faces and to meet some new ones. Lets all try to get one friend to come out with each of us next year. Or, bring someone back out who used to shoot at this event.
 
Massive thank you to Rod and John, you did another great job. Best event yet IMO. I know you have contributed massive hours making this happen for our enjoyment.

We also can't forget all the great hard workers running the scoring and targets. The kids were hero's for this event, they were in the blazing sun all day long working those targets.

Anyone who took pictures or video's of the event please message me and I'll give you an email address you can send them too. They will help make the promo video and posters for the event.

Numerous people have asked for pictures of themselves of the event. I'll be compiling the pictures I took and the ones I get from others. I'll be posting them on a private drive for people to get their pictures/video's. It'll be a while, it's not gonna happen in a few days. I'll post in the forums once it's up so we can get the competitors connected to it.
 
Thanks for the support and kind words it goes a long way in helping this event Thanks to all the competitors for being so understanding with the issues we did have! Thanks to John , Gale ,Gabriel, Cheryl and Tara , Thanks To Brad & Dusty for saving the day on Fri with the scoring program! Thanks to Gabriel for helping us Sat to fix the Crash! And April & Gab on Sun with prizes and stuff. And Thank you to JR at the Shooting edge for the Trophy's , we finally have some NICE awards to hand out yearly, As well we had a huge Prize table Thanks to MDT.
We also have a bunch of sponsors that put up lots of great prizes; Ultimatum , Italian, Reliable, Wanstalls, Wolverine, Cabela's, International, Custom Reloading, DS Tac, Tactical tailor, Wholesale, Cadex , Technical Designs. And Task force targets for providing Targets for the last 7 or so years! If you are in any of these stores or getting something online from one of them, thank them for the support of this event. Then they can see the investment is worthwhile and next year will be even better!
I am working on ideas for classification And I have some new stages already as well as some changes to this years for 2018. Thanks to April for taking pictures & Vid for us, I have seen a vid she is working on and its Awesome!
I am going to be changing my handle on here as well, so I will be back as something else . Thanks Again to every one for a great shoot, And help support our sponsors!

This was my first year shooting this and it was great, thank you to all of those involved. I am starting to wonder about these new stages for next year. I am thinking I may have to start taking Yoga to limber up for it.
 
Alright this is my new handle . Couple things, I forgot to thank a big supporter over the years is JSA Tactical They looked after us even when we didn't have any sponsors So Thanks Skullboy. I also forgot to thank my RO's Chris, Greg ,for organizing and moving stuff around the range as well. Graeme & Aaron for RO'ing And Graeme for organizing picking up Target Markers.... with no list either! Thanks I really Appreciate the help, Next year we will do things different for markers so shooters don't have to do it.

MDT Ryan Thanks for coming out, Glad to have you shooting. I am going to change rules, that will put your rifle back in Civ..... And yes I got some good ones for next year.....so Zen up!

This is one match we will always sponsor. ;)

We all appreciate the hard work and time yourself and John have spent on setting up and running the match. So far each year the match gets a little bigger.

It would be nice to get attendance back to where it was when I started shooting the match back in 1996 when we would have 80+ shooters registered.

I think we are heading in the right direction............. ;)
 
Scores - Since there were a lot of people shooting 308 were in Open class I showed the scores by Class and by Overall to help people get a feel for how they placed in both respects;

I also am showing you stage and day scores as well as ranking on each stage/day. I'm hoping this will help people celebrate their good stages. A lot of people who placed in the bottom 1/2 overall had top 10 results on stages.

It shows some interesting trends like Stuart who came in 1st overall in individual scores places 3rd on day 1 and 2nd on day 2. Shane who was 1st place on day 1 placed 16th on day 2 finishing 2nd overall. April who was 1st place on day 2 placed 19th on day 1 finishing 5th overall. Stuart showed consistency is the key.

Wow those stats really show how tricky the winds were at times. I can't believe I aced "me and my shadow", then scored no hits on "double tap" right after. Crazy.
