2017 IPSC Canada Nationals will be July 18-23 2017

lol'ing at everyone's replies.

I like the no squadding thing, I mean it works in the Philippines so why not in Canada too?

OK, we were batting around an ideal at the provincials over the weekend and i got tagged to post it up here to see if there was any interest. How many people would be interested in an opportunity to load their ammo when they got to Calgary vs having it shipped? The thought was that we would have a couple of loading stations set up and that we would have for sale components in 500 lots, primers, bullets, powder.

I wouldn't do it. Even if you happen to be able to supply my brand of bullet, my brand & type of powder, my brand and type of primer and decent brass, I'd still have to spend time making a test load to chrono, check for reliability and sight-in then make more. (You can't declare this stuff match ammo)

I don't enjoy reloading at home on a fully kitted-out 1050, I'm not going to travel across the country to spend the better part of a day setting up some random press to my spec and then reloading.

Shipping is my go-to.

agree with Sean, shipping ammo is also not that costly in Canada, and honestly, you can usually get all your ammo in your checked bags anyhow. But for $70 to ship ammo to a match, why would I reload?

I know this is a ways off, but quick question. Would prematch be the 18 and 19 and then main match the 20, 21, 22, 23? I ask as I've got friends who want to come, but will be at the Extreme Eurasion the weekend before. They really want to see the mountains though, along with shooting the match obviously.
