Aluminum extrusion upper and nylon lower. QD barrel using a ratchet system, can be done without tool. Short stroke push rod, dual compressed recoil spring behind bolt carrier. 2 settings in gas plug for normal and suppressed. AR15 style multi-lug bolt. 6.8 Lb

Pros: light weight and very small rail over bore distance for a push rod gun. Very compact receivers. Lower receiver replicates the ergonomic of AR15 lower, in addition to using AR15 fire control parts. Left hand bolt available

Cons: Charging handle will interfere with laser modules. Very little clearance between the top of rail and charging handle. No bolt release and no last round open. So reloading at running out the magazine will be like a HK G-series gun. Could be a problem if laser is already mounted, will be difficult to reach for charging handle. No adjustable stock yet.

Gross. And at $1500 I could never see this being popular in the USA. You could get a DDM4, Sig MPX, Beretta ARX, etc.

Might be a hit up north because of the potential for non-restricted.

I like it, but the last round hold open is almost a deal breaker and the no bolt release is not good.

Last round BHO device is a huge con, bolt release not as big of a deal, just cycle the bolt. It looks like ambi bolt handles. This will probably languish with the MPAR that has been in limbo for what 3 years now?

the second photos don't seem too ugly, hopefully with gen 2 they clean up some of the lines / color mismatch. But great option and look forward to seeing it on the shelf in a few years

I don't think no last round bolt hold open is as big a deal as we make it out to be, probably AR obduracy.
I'm trained in the AR manual of arms so I understand the benefit of a well placed bolt release, but at the end of the day:
Bang bang bang NO-bang.
Quick peek and mag change.
Do "something" to chamber a round.
