So i like to try to keep busy over the winter months.
last couple years ive found that picking away at making or tweaking guns is a super fun way to kill away the long winter night.
so this summer when SFRC was flogging off NEA lowers for $70/80 a piece i picked up a couple three and decided my winter projects this winter would be to upgrade my AR's to some nice ones made by myself.
not only would that give me some super nice AR's to take to the range but it would also get me intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the AR platform that i probably didn't already have by just buying fully made ones.
win win.
so, last month was the super shorty in Green (ODG) and this month was the long DMR style.
from one extreme to the other i guess!
so tonight i put the finishing touches on the FDE and Black 18" DMR.
still havnt gotten around to picking up any optics for either of them yet, that will be after i get all 3 build.
thought id come in and share where i am in this journey so far.
and a family pic with his shorter brother.
