2018 CDTSA 3-Gun Schedule

Is tomorrow still a go with the rain forecasted?

Yessir. Obviously, if it's unsafe to be running around carrying a metal rod (lightning), we'll have to call it off.

That being said, all the props and targets still need to be put away, so if it's gross tomorrow, myself and the team would appreciate any help we can get to tear it all down.

Well the weather definitely threatened to downpour but cooperated for the entire day!
Thanks to everyone for putting on another outstanding match!!!

I think the weather was perfect!!
No heat exhaustion
No rain really
Perfect temp for the most part

Fantastic match! Proud of the team!

Thanks for a great match CDTSA!

Shout out to our squad's RO Cameron for keeping everything moving and just generally doing an awesome job. He was a pleasure to work with.

As always, you guys put on a fun match with great stages.

See you at the next one!

Yes thanks for putting on another great match! The thunderstorms lurking off in the distance the whole time made for some pretty wild sky's to look at.

If anyone is still looking for the link to the scores it's here

Thanks to all of you for coming out! It was great to see everyone ready to come and shoot despite the iffy (at best) forecast. The 3-Gun gods smiled on us yet again.

The next match of the season is July 22.

Any news on the upcoming match?

I'm expecting the sign up link to appear on the website tomorrow. At that point, I'll open up member-only registration, followed by general registration. The link we be posted here, the club website, and the CDTSA Facebook group.

And now the moment you've all been waiting for...

Registration for the July 22 match will open for CDTSA members at 8pm on Tuesday, July 3.

General registration will begin at 8pm on Wednesday, July 4.

Hi Everyone,

I notice that quite a few of you have registered under our "Just for Fun" class. I just want to clear up any potential confusion around this class, namely around score keeping. Even though the label is "Just for Fun" we do still keep score in this class.

Typically, I have one or two guys who help out who like to shoot the stages with guns that do not meet the minimum requirements to be Practical or Unlimited. Consequently, their times are blazing fast. You're welcome to stay in JFF, but personally, I'd switch back to one of the 'normal' classes, unless you're running a pistol-calibre carbine (PCC) or some other piece of gear that doesn't fit into Practical or Unlimited. If there's enough interest in a new class, I'm definitely interested in making it official, so let me know.

Again, just so we're all clear on what 'Just for Fun' is all about.

Do you have a round count for July 22nd? More wondering if there will be slugs. Just found out the slugs I have won’t cycle my shotgun. I need to get some different ammo. Thanks.

The round count should be finalized tomorrow. There will definitely be slugs. So far, I believe at least 2 stages are using them.
