2018 IPSC Canada Nationals

likewise even though I had put my name on the email list for a 24 hr notice before registration I didn't receive an email either......lucky I check the Nats site and here on Gunnutz frequently.......I received a Practiscore email about 5 hours after registering that it was accepted and go to Practiscore to pay the match fee

the email I got had the email address for the payment. I was approved the same day

heard a rumour theres a course being run @ selkirk for those willing to pay for an early look at the stages, the week prior to nationals complete with TGO coaching

I would suggest you stick to the official media points which are the Nationals web site and Facebook groups.

Pay money and get an advantage over other shooters for a National competition by seeing and shooting stages beforehand? Wow!

well apparently they won't be "shooting" the stages, but sure will get a "sneak peek" - the training will take place at a bay not used for nationals stages

As Match Director and club executive, I lol'ed when I read this. If anyone wants to come by the range the week prior to nationals please bring work boots & a hammer. Help with setup will be appreciated.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I feel it is an advantage for competitors to be involved in building the stages. Clearly we should be hiring an independent contractor and security firm to restrict access until the shooting schedule begins.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA best post today

Teams are the first ones squaded as they are a known element to the MD.
I have to give massive kudos to the MD and their team. This has been the best Nationals experience prior to a match so far. Amazing communication with competitors, self squading (for non team people) which is just outstanding as far as I am concerned, and great information on activities, hotels etc in the area. I hope that this is used as a template for future Nationals, it will be difficult to accept less next year.
