2018 Precision Rifle Series - Meaford Long Range Steel Challenge

Ummm....how about some video of actual shooting and explanation of the stages...this is just one big product commercial....which I understand the sponsors are very important, but for someone starting down the road to long range target/PRS, it would be helpful to see some shooting.

Look up the contingecyx videos on youtube. There is lots of talking but they break down the stages quite well and show some shooting.

He's American...

American or not... I agree, he looks like a clown.... especially bad taste to be dressed like a marine corps football team cheerleader in a foreign country.

A Khaki flag on your arm is one thing.... But making your clothes out of a flag is a bit much for my taste.

I don't think he was... but maybe he had a competitive advantage.

I think he was using his shirt as a wind flag.

I think he is part of the Kelby's shooting team.

Lots of pictures of him in that garb - it is kind of tacky but I think it is also his thing.

I personally enjoy the laid back style of PRS comps. At the last SAPRL match there was an ugly shirt contest. There were some very unique styles at the match - it was fun.

Exactly. It was a joke. Didn't stop him from outshooting ya... musta been using a Kestrel ;)

Since I worked / volunteered for the reception desk, we remembered each other from last year’s competition. He was here for a good time and wanted everyone to have a great time and shoot well. Each day I would ask him (changing the country everyday) where he was from. He was a jovial spirit! And he was a good shooter, too!

Hahahahaha

Cheers, Barney

I'm with Ryan on this one, check out the ConX video on Youtube for pretty much full coverage of this years NRL season. Great coverage of all different types of shooters, stages, stage design, etc.

Also, Meaford was a hell of a match, fun COF and the winds humbled us all. It was cool to see some familiar faces in the video though ;)

The fellow with the patriotic wardrobe was one HELLUVA nice guy, I met him there, very humble and willing to help out us new shooters. Personally I didn't mind his attire and I admire him for having the balls to wear it, and it was not disrespectful at all. Nothing wrong with loving the country you were born in.

The shoot was awesome, the COF was really fun, and a little frustrating at times too. This was my first centre fire PRS match, I will definitely be back next year if I can manage the timing of the event.

I did not know about this match. Looks great and I will see about registering for it next year. Thanks for posting.

Can someone provide a different link to the video ? All I see on my computer is a big black square and no video. And in regards to the guy dressed in the American flag ...as others have said he was a nice guy and a good shot as well .If he wants to dress like that so be it...I got a chuckle out of it and asked him for politely for a pic. This was my second match at Meaford and I will be there next year for sure as well. Excellent match with great people so whats not to like !! Thanks again Ryan , Kris and all the staff.

Go to YouTube and search Code of Arms TV. They are the group that produced the video and they did a great job.
