The Colonel Mustard team is busy planning for our biggest event of the year - the Calgary Gun Show, which for this year is Saturday and Sunday, 30 and 31 March, at the BMO Centre - 9.30 to 5.00 and 9.30 to 4.00, respectively. The organiser (AACCA) couldn't get the the big hall over Easter weekend for this year, which it's why it's a little earlier (and on a Saturday/Sunday rather than the usual Friday/Saturday), so rather than a smaller show, they moved the dates so there is still over a thousand tables!

We will have 40% more space than we have previously had, so we will have a lot more of our inventory available to see and buy. There will also be products that aren't on colonelmustard.ca as new items are not being loaded onto our website until after we move our e-commerce platform from Shopify, which will be after the show.

As we get closer we'll post some more information on specials and codes to allow collection of orders from the show.

We're really looking forward to chatting with our current customers and meeting our new customers at the show!
 
Worth going to? Will it be a bunch of old rifles n such or will there be some decent vendors there with some modern equipment for sale ?

Like any gun show, expect a large portion to be taken up by overpriced milsurps and militaria, at least 50%. The other 50% of the show is split between larger reputable vendors (many CGN site sponsors from AB) and all the little vendors that retail piles of Chinese pot metal and hazy glass to those who think they are saving piles of money outfitting their tapco SKS with a NC Star scope, flip up red dot, and lazer. Lol

There might be 1000 tables but I rarely stop at more than 100.

We'll bring stock of all the Timber Creek Outdoors products we have (including some items not on our website) - I just checked and we only have two of the Ambi Safety Selectors in red in stock. If we're lucky we'll get another delivery before the show but it's unlikely as TCO are based in Oregon - their factory got hammered a few weeks ago by storms and they're still catching up...

If you want to make sure you get one, I'd order it now.
 
We were pricing lots of items today that we only have a few of, that aren't on the website and that we don't want to have to move to our new premises, so make sure you check out our bargain table at the show!
 
We've had confirmation that we have a U-shape layout as in previous years - with longer 'arms' on the U as we have more tables. We're not certain on the location in the hall, but as usual look for the balloons, plus for this year look for the two mannequins with mustard coloured t-shirts!

We should have enough space to bring the majority of items but to prevent disappointment you can always place an order for collection at the show - just place an online order and enter CGS19 into the discount code box during checkout - this will cancel out any shipping charges and we'll have your order ready and set aside for collection on either Saturday or Sunday.

For those customers purchasing through the website over next weekend, please be aware that our online inventory may not be correct over the weekend/Monday until we complete our post-show inventory.
