Looking for something fun and exciting to do on Father's Day weekend? Come out to the Galt Sportsmens Club (Cambridge, Ontario) for our annual Ducks Unlimited Fun Shoot. It's a 100 round sporting clays course set up for shooters of all levels and lunch is included as well. We will have live/silent auctions, gun raffles and a crowd favorite Two-Man flush game on the closest skeet field!

Delta Waterfowl also hosts a shoot, but it is not nearly as well organized and run, and usually only has 50-60 shooters. I guess the good thing is that a person can still sign up at the last minute.

I don't think the CEO is anti-gun. Here is the first few lines from his announcement..

"MEMPHIS, Tenn. – March 13, 2019 – Ducks Unlimited (DU) announced today the hiring of Adam H. Putnam as their new CEO effective April 1.
"I joined Ducks Unlimited when I was 16 and have a lifelong appreciation of the conservation work the organization accomplishes," Putnam said. "It's humbling to be chosen as DU's CEO, and as a lifelong hunter, angler and conservationist, I look forward to building on our record of success."

There's a rumor going around that the new DU ceo is an anti gun supporter and has canceled all of the DU gun bashes. Seems strange and unlikely but does anyone know anything about this?

That couldn't be further from the truth as the new DU Inc. president is a longtime dedicated waterfowler. Gun bashes may be diminishing due to participation in some cases and that's probably from doing so many over a period of time. Time for newer types of raffles/events in some places.

Even DU Canada president Karla Guyn is an avid waterfowler and sport shooter. She could probably out shoot me! Lol
