2019 Rimfire goals?

1. Sign up for the Eastern Ontario Shooting Club to get a lot more practice in (maybe 1-2 a week).
2. Upgrade trigger on my CZ 455. Join open-sight rimfire competitions. Maybe try to fit globe sights.
3. Set up my T1X (new scope, rail, rings, stock, maybe trigger)
4. Get a semi-auto 22LR. Im thinking TUF-22.
5. Save up for Anschutz 1710.

For 4. I'd say get a S&W Victory. Great gun. Great Trigger.

Planning to finish a carbon fiber stock project for my lightweight Volquartsen 22lr this winter. Also want to help my youngest one to get ready for his hunters safety course and last but not least, both of us need to get better at of hand shooting in time for the next hunting season.

My main goal for 2019 is getting all my rimfire steel built and ready to shoot, got my new Lincoln 180 Mig pak and I fully intend to put it to work to help fuel the shooting hobby! I'm also planning on competing in the CPRS and just in general shooting more, may stretch my legs into benchrest 22 as well!

I dont really have any now that I think of it.

Might wait for the new CZ line to come out. Would love one of them. If I have not got a new tikka by then. Im still on the fence with them.

That or a nice lever action for hunting.

I want to put at least 3 rifles into the ÂĽ inch at 50 class. [SUHL, 40X and M37]
Had at least one in there early this year but muffed my target with too many sighters. D.

1. Shoot more
2. Find and shoot at cheap reactive target(just placed a order for a ice target mold)
3. Create some cool go pro footage of my target
4. Split a card 30, 40 and 50 yards (did it at 25)

1) Sell off some of the seldom-shot rifles so I have room in the safe for new toys
2) Find a rifle with an adjustable LOP for new shooters. One size does not fit all.

@fljip2002 - for a cheap reactive target, have you tried baking up some hardtack?

=lol :) Yeah, that was my plan for 2018...didn't work out that well. lol Overall, I'm downsizing my small assortment to just the ones I use, save for a few inherited shotguns that have greater sentimental value than $ value.

^=gopher envy. Wish we had those reactive targets in S. Ontario, but keep us posted on that. Photos always welcome.

If you are ever in the neighborhood of Kootenay-Columbia, you have a standing invitation. Coffee is strong, Food is plentiful, and a place to sleep

Gopher hunting is amazing fun. And I have plenty of farmers who just beg me to show up. RF, CF... does not matter. No shooting farm animals, leave gates as you found them, No shooting irrigation pipes, and they are all good.

So. Bring your guns!!! I have a Dillon 550 for rifle. Bring your toolhead dies and stuff (we can source powder locally) and have a blast!!!

Goal: Shoot lots. Missed my annual trek to one of my honey hole gopher shoots, but soothed that hurt with finding one less than 10 miles from home! :d

Not sure if it would be considered a goal, but to find a P94 in a Fin Fire Range for less than having to sell a kidney with three pints of blood might be fun.
Tight Groups guys and Gals.
May 2019 be safe, fun and continued good health.
Rob

...be careful what you wish for! lol Hey Got Juice~thanks for the offer!! :) I normally associate good gopher #s with SW Alberta (Richardson's)... Are they Richardson's in your neck of the woods? I've seen Columbians and 13 Stripe (if that's the correct name for them), but haven't shot either. Almost got 1 x 13 stripe that got a little too curious...but honestly, so uncommon that I wasn't disappointed. I think they're a bit more wary than the Richardson's. Once they spotted us, had a quick look...they hit the afterburners! lol
