2019 Rimfire goals?

5x5-shot groups sub 1/4" at 50 yards. Got a rifle that's done it once in practice. 1/2" is too easy, I did a 45 group long run, and frequently do 20 groups runs sub 1/2".

*edit*

Those are some wicked animal silhouettes!

Three months ago near the beginning of this thread I said I didn't plan to buy anymore rimfires. That didn't last two weeks. Rabid's post reminds me that my still theoretically achievable goal is to also shoot the five 5-shot sub-.25" groups at 50 challenge with at least one rifle.

I am soooo itching for the weather to warm up, my accuracy has dropped off in the cold so I'm not touching any of my good ammo. I'm hoping that by getting the round count up in the rifle over winter, it'll shoot more consistently come spring. It showed me it could do 5 in a row sub 1/4" in the fall, with a most unlikely ammo (BBM HV). Can't wait to dip back into the good ammo when it's warm. I think I'm around 3000 rounds through it as of yesterday.

Not all 3000 in this calendar year, I'll bet. I'm waiting to shoot my first round of the year. My last was November 4 last fall, the date that marked the end of my 2018 season, the earliest conclusion in recent memory.

Total count since I got the rig up and running in Oct 2017. Gets about 200 rounds shot per range trip. I didn't brave the elements from early Dec to mid Feb, now I'll get out on a day close to 0C with calm winds. Sucks that you need to wait for the snow to melt :( I suppose cabin fever leads to buying more rifles :d

To find a good place to shoot in southern Manitoba closer to winker if possible. Let me know if you can help me out. I’m stuck on where I can go to shoot
