First off, there are noticeable improvements over my 2019 Renegade model. For one, I scored some NICE walnut furniture!! I won't be in a rush to install my plastic furniture on this one. The follower plug is a nice anodized aluminum, not plastic as on the 2019 model. It came with a very nice 28" chrome-lined vent rib barrel with a fibre optic front site. This will come in handy for hunting. The top of the receiver has a divot/notch to allow for easier alignment to the front sight. The 2019 model does not have this divot. The receiver, however, does not have recoil pin holes to allow for a more secure dovetail to Picatinny rail installation (as on the 2019 model), but I think I will forgo optics on this one anyway. The dovetail also has a line pattern for easier sight alignment. The 2019 model was smooth on top. It came with 3 Mobile chokes and a 2-round mag plug for hunting. It holds 4 in the tube and 1 in the chamber. Overall, it functions smoothly and feels very solid. A real score! $400 from Bullseye, free shipping. Great value!

It sports my Cerakoted 14" barrel and I am debating as to whether or not I will install my King's Arms 6-round side saddle. I forgot how light and trim these things are in factory form.

When I commented on your other thread, I didn't realize you meant a Canuck Renegade. The gun I have (and was describing) is a Canuck Defender, which looks pretty much like your pictures. The barrel retaining nut is a little different and the sling swivels were different ( but I changed them to QD studs like on yours). Gorgeous walnut and excellent recoil pad right from the factory. I would prefer a tang safety and the blue on the mag tube wore off VERY quickly. Only two minor complaints I have with mine.

The blue wears off the mag tube quickly on all the wood stocked models (steel forend liner inside wood forend grip). The plastic forends preserve the blue for much longer as it's not metal on metal.

Another thing I noticed is that this gun was factory test fired! There was a bit of carbon on the firing pin assembly/carrier and inside the barrel, plus the mag tube bluing was already marked up from use. It came in a sealed plastic sleeve, however, and is definitely factory new, so that was a surprise. Maybe they test the odd one for function? I have not fired any rounds through it yet, but it cycles my four snap caps nicely. I am not normally this excited and pleased by a $400 Turkish utility shotgun, but this one is a fair bit nicer than my two 870's and 500.
