Pretty sure that is an Atkin that now graces my gun room. Every now and then John has a weak moment and I seized the moment. A beautiful gun that has nitro proved Damascus barrels. Beautiful gun, indeed.
You sure love M21's, Spank. You have superb taste. Don't think you could pry the gun from the owner's hand.
Now and then, a M21 trap gun comes on the market, but not often.
Woops---I got carried away. My Atkin is the sidelock WITHOUT HAMMERS.

I assume the Cooey's are 12, 16, 20, 28 and 410? I seem to recall that they may have made a 24 gauge, or perhaps a 32 gauge?

Single on a single. I think it would be about 30 more years before the first single trigger on a double appeared, and much longer before one that worked correctly!
I guess I need to take a new family photo in 2023 to include the 20th century guns lest they feel unloved. Since this pic a couple have moved to deserving new homes, but others have joined the family.
No millennials or Gen Z in that family. All Boomers. lol

My apologies for not mentioning there’s a 12ga trench gun in my milsurp box…
It’s a SVT40 crate with UA storage markings so came from Ukraine some years ago. I built a new top with SS rods and a glass insert. A little led lighting inside for display purposes. Home Hardware did the colour match.
