This year, the Alberta black powder cartridge rifle silhouette provincial match is going to be at the Valleyview and district gun club August 4,5,6,7
There will be two days of scope (4th & 5th) and two days of iron sights (6th & 7th).
They should be standard 40 shot matches with 200m chickens, 300m pigs, 385 m turkeys and 500m rams.

Far anyone that travels any distance, I hope the VV club has changed. We went there to a ML shoot twice about 20 years ago and, since we were outsiders, we were treated like lepers. After the first "episode" my wife swore never to go back but I convinced her to try again the following year and we left half way through the day. A real shame since we only live <30 minutes away.
