2023 SHOT Show: Buck Knives Alpha Hunter Series and EDC Folders

Stopped by the buck booth to check out their knife lineup for this year. Took a look at their Alpha Hunter Series and a variety of their new EDC Folders.

The Alpha Hunter Series was discontinued a while back so these have been resurrected as the Alpha Hunter 2 series. Most models have a cheaper 420HC version and a more.premium S35VN option.

The EDC lineup has a variety of options from autos and expensive limited editions to affordable Walmart priced models. You can even upgrade your prized 110 with a premium version with high end materials.

I'll stick with my old folding Alpha hunter. Not liking the look of the new ones.

Buck really keeps refining their lineup year after year. The Alpha Hunter 2 re-release is interesting, especially having both 420HC and S35VN options for different budgets. I like that they’re trying to make the lineup more accessible while still offering premium steels. The EDC folders look like a solid mix for everyday carry, and honestly about edc it’s good to see Buck competing across price ranges instead of staying in one lane.
