2023 SHOT Show: Mad Pig Tactical lever action - just to piss off the fogeys

Not to my liking, just waiting for the day someone will market a tactical Hawken M.L. With a skeleton stock , pic. Rails, flashlight, and all the other goodies, and then all the wanna bee navy seals will start casting tactical rounds balls. As long as shooters keep shootin and we get new people into the lifestyle, all is good.

Not Fudd tears but Fudd smiles

Whats the US price on one of these?

On edit; Just went to their site. You supply rifle. And conversion is $2,000 to $2300 USD.

$2,000 to $3,000 on top of purchase price of rifle. If I saw one of these this Fudd would not be annoyed. I'd just smile like I do when i see the young guy with a spoiler on his CorollaLaugh2

But… this isn’t a black powder muzzle loader. A 1895 is a “modern” firearm. We have “Tactical” pump shotguns and bolt actions why is a lever action exempted from modern “Tactical” aesthetics?

I'd sell off half my crap to be able to use a can on our rifles. A buddy of mine was out at industry day this year at Shot and got to test out some on a few levers ranging from 38/357 to 45-70. He said that the report of the hammer hitting the pin and the projectile hitting the steel plate on the 38 was louder that the actual shot going off. The 45-70 was easily doable without ear defenders as well.
