2025 Huglu order

I just ordered a new Veyron from Clay, these are amazing gas operated guns that come with a full synthetic as well as a full walnut stock and alloy trigger guard, Huglu makes them for CZ and calls them a CZ712 G3, still not available in Canada yet and a lot more money.

Fit and finish on my sxs was phenomenal. Triggers were pretty darn stiff out the gate. Felt like 12lbs.
Huglu was the worst gun purchase I have made in my life. Laughable quality.
I bought a Huglu O/U in 28 gauge, beautiful gun, good fit and finish. But as much as I wanted to like the gun it does not pattern worth crap. Tried different loads chokes etc., always blowing a hole in the Center of the pattern. Tried extended aftermarket choke tubes, same thing. Very poor killing performance on grouse unless you are really close. My 20 gauge kills like a bazooka compared to the Huglu 28gauge, not sure if it’s just the gun or 28 gauge in general but would likely not buy either one again.

I have a couple Huglus, (well a Huglu and a CZ, same thing) and for the price point I am quite pleased. Some people want $6000 quality for $1000, it doesn’t work that way. Both of my guns (Huglu 12ga sxs hammer gun and a CZ Bobwhite 20ga) are well made, good fit and finish but have heavyer that optimal trigger pulls. Not the end of the world for me as I would rather have a heavier than idea trigger pull than a sxs that doubles. Neither gun has ever doubled……yet?

I had problems with my O/U 28 gauge right away. Didn't get it from prophet river. Sent it back and the in house guy where I bought it did warranty work. Bottom barrel had light primer strikes. Gun also shoots un-naturally low. I have many other shotguns, with a variety of fits, and don't have problems with any of them. I'm probably going to sell it at a large loss, which doesn't bother me too much, but I bought 30 boxes of 28 gauge, and I will only have a beat up 28 gauge cooey to dispose of them, lol.

Anyway, I haven't had a good experience with Huglu, and it was well over a 1000 bucks for that gun.

I have 4 huglus and they've been flawless. Triggers on mine are all decent. I havent had them measured but they're no heavier than any of my vintage guns and much better than my pumps with the exception of my well wore Ithaca 37

The only complaint I have is with my 200ace. It's still stiff to #### the ejectors so I have to reach further down the barrels to open it and this can't catch the empties on the range. I'm sure eventually it'll loosen up a bit
