204 case length trimmer

Lee does not make a CL trimmer for 204. Their existing one only goes down to .22. Is there another very simple trimmer like that out there? For the amount of these I reload I will not invest in a more complex tool. Other than a lot of time with a staionary sander is there another method anyone is using?

Why not make your own? Im sure you could find a thin enough piece of metal, and then grind one end down to a point and thread the other end.

The length gauge would be easy. The problem is the cutter edges do not cut below .22 diameter so the problem is two-fold.

Thanks. I will recheck the cutter to see if it will actually cut down to 204 and then make a pilot if I have to.

I made a pilot out of a 22-250. The cutter will cut the 20 cal casings.

+2 that's what I did when I first got my 204 they never even made a .20 cal pilot for my RCBS trimmer so I had to mod my 22-250 one.
