204 ruger and 4895

Is there a big differnce between IMR4895 and H4895? I have lots of iMr but can't find any Hodgdon.

Yes- I've great results with IMR in my Tikka and 40 grain Hornadys, see Hodgdon's website for data.

Yes, or at least more so than H4895. (They are similar, but not the same). I prefer H4895 in my 204's.

ok thanks CV32, I have read that numerous times. Funny, my .222 prefers imr4198 over H4198 very much.

My 204 loves h4895 with 40gr v max. If you can find it you won't be disappointed.
