Well too continue on with these fun and exciting threads I thought I'd share my new coyote slayer

Its a .204 Ruger Remington Model 700 LVSF :D
Topped with a cheap Elite 3200 :( Hoping a Zeiss from Cabelas at Christmas

I sighted it in today off the hood of my truck and managed groups around
1.5" Im sure they will get better off a bench and bags. The rifle is amazingly light and a real treat to carry ( around 6 lbs) vs my other M700 30-06

Now Im just waiting on my new FoxPro comming from a fellow CGN'er

Well I took it out, got on some sand bags in the back of the old truck and here's what I got.
3 shot groups @ 100 yards

Im shooting 32 gr. V-Max (Hornady factory loads) @ over 4200 fps :D
Adjusted the factory trigger to a crisp clean 1.75 lbs and have this gun shooting MOA. Im going to have it bedded soon and hope to shrink these groups and make an accurate predator/gopher gun

My smallest groups were a bit over .310" and largest was 1.14".

Im heading out tonight for a coyote and hope to post some pics of the kill :sniper:

Cheers!!

204

I don't think I have seen a thread where some ones 204 was a poor shooting rifle? I have 2 of them and I'm not sure I'll ever shoot my 22-250 again. FS
