204 Ruger loads?

Just got my new 204 Ruger. I was wondering if anyone would share some of their loads with me. Thanks.

32gr VMAX with 26.5gr H335 and 2.30" OAL works for my Savage 11.

39 gr Sierra BK .080" off the lands with 27.5 gr H4895 or 40gr Vmax with 27.5 gr H4895

Varget seems to work real well in a pair of 204 I own. 27gr with 40gr ballistic tip and 28gr with 39gr Blitzking, 28.5 with the 32gr Vmax. FS

I use 32gr. Sierra BK`s and 27gr. H322. Works well on coyotes,gophers and other vermin.

 

[CV32]

H4895 has been my 'go to' powder for the .204, but several others also work well. Be sure to use CCI 450 magnum primers, especially if you're experimenting with hot loads, as they have thicker cups than most other types.

avoid 40gr.

i've tried with varget, h335 going to try some 4064, but have not been able to get them to shoot out of my savage.

stick with fast 32 gr.

h335 seems to be pretty good. the lighter loads really produced excellent results for me. YMMV

just got a 204 first load I tried was 28.1 grains of ramshot tac behind a 39 gr seirra blitzking fou shot group in less than ideal condition covered by a nickel, now going to try to work a load for 32 gr v-max.
